Ivanhoe, California Ghost Sightings
My niece and I were going to the store that was the hardware store on Main Street. We were in front of the packing house by the railroad tracks. At about 8:15 pm there were lots of big rigs around. We stopped to wait on one of the trucks to turn and park. Then right in front of us across the street was full body see-through man. He dressed in jeans and checkered shirt. We both at the same time said '' that's a ghost.'' We have tried to go there a couple
more times to see it again but have not.|

My girlfriend and I at the time had just returned from a long visit with my family in Northern California. We went back to her parents' house in Ivanhoe when her mom asked us to please take the tax papers to Visalia to the post office, so they could be postmarked before she got a fine for not getting them mailed in time. I did not want to go, but my girlfriend insisted that we do it for her mother. Reluctantly I went; she drove. When we got around the bend at Cutler Orosi Park my girlfriend lost control of the car and we ended up crashing into an Orchard of trees. She was fine, but I had extreme trauma to my face. I could not see out of my left eye due to the impact it has sustained, but I managed to kick the door open and ran back to the road to signal for help. My girlfriend came running out of the car and asked me to get off the road before I got ran over. Then a car approached with bright lights. The driver saw that my left eye was hanging outside of the socket, so she screamed. She pulled over and told us they would take us to the hospital. We got in the back of the vehicle and drove off.
They were a couple I cannot remember their faces, but they talked really calm and told us everything would be fine. Time passed and soon we were at the Kaweah Delta Hospital. I remember walking into the emergency room and asking my girlfriend to get the names of the nice couple that brought us there. She told me that they were gone. I looked at the security guard and asked him if he knew where the car had gone that brought us there. He replied that he had seen us walking down the street coming towards the hospital, but we were in no vehicle. When they took me to the back and were evaluating my injuries, the doctor told me it was a miracle that I did not bleed to death because of the amount of blood I had lost. I told him it was because we had been picked up by a couple and brought to the hospital. The highway patrol officer came in afterwards. He asked me some routine questions. He asked if we had been drinking or playing around. He also asked if we had been run off the road. I told him I could not recall what had happened just that we had wrecked. The officer said if I remembered what time the accident happened I told him about twenty minutes ago. He told me ''it could not have been because the clock on the car stopped at 10:16 pm, and you were admitted to the hospital at 10:19pm. ''
If anyone knows this area they know that to get from the park to the hospital with no traffic it would take at least twenty minutes. I am not saying that there are not ghosts or guardian angels out there, but I am a person who has to see things before I believe it. This story is true, and I have the scar on my left eye to remind me every day.
