Custom Search Jackson, California Ghost Sightings Jackson PAGE 1   2   3     The national hotel in Jackson CA is well known for being haunted. The hotel is closed now. While the bar itself was still open my friends and I visited during our annual Christmas visit. During our last visit while it was still open the bar proprietor greeted our ghost query with excitement. We sat at some tables and watched in amazement as lights played and danced across the floor! The lights were random and all over the floor streaks     of light that darted and wavered. The Story is that two children used to stay there and play all over the hotel. There is also supposed to be a ghost dog there. It was quite a site to see. We tried to disprove the lights (passing cars reflections etc. ) but they were erratic and skittish. And the chills would not stop. I was sorry to see this gold Rush hotel closed.
