Julian, California Ghost Tales | |

On Labor Day 2010, me and a friend visited the city of Julian for a day trip. When we got there, the very first place we stopped at was the cemetery. A place full of history, with a lot of very memorable names. As we started to head into the city center, we stopped at the Bailey house (home of the founder of Julian) and took a picture of the front of the house. I tend to be a perfectionist, so in order to get the perfect shot I took several pictures of the house. As I was flipping back through the images on my digital camera, I noticed a white figure in the window, when I zoomed-in on the picture I could clearly see the face of a bearded man. I was pretty sure I had just taken the picture of a ghost. I continued my day, and visited the antique store right across the street from the Bailey house, and I mentioned what I had just photographed to the shopkeeper. I showed her the image, and she gasped saying that the face looked exactly like the man who had previously lived in the house, Dr. Wellington, a name I recognized as one of the people buried in the cemetery next to the house. Take a look at the picture, and you'll see the face of a man.
