La Mirada, California Ghost Sightings - PAGE 6
(...continued from the previous page)|
I started to ask around because I felt the wife's presence specially in the kitchen. One night it was so bad that I had to leave the house leaving all the lights on and the radio playing. When I returned the next day the radio was broken and would not play. It was a Christmas gift we gave my daughter just a few days earlier. I had to have the house blessed shortly after we moved in Feb.

I have lived in Whittier my whole life on Santa Gertrudes border line La Mirada near Creek Park. When I was younger I had heard stories about a little girl that was murdered in Creek Park. And at night when I was a teenager all of our friends would walk through at night for fun, we would walk through the tunnel and I would notice I would feel like I have to run and I got very frightened .
When I had met my husband when I got older I had mentioned this to him and he told me that he recalls seeing a little girl near the tunnel and by the horses. If anybody knows what I am talking about please comment, when I mention this to others they call me crazy lol.|

Comment by Erin: Our family has lived here for over 50 years now. As a kid about 15 -20 years ago I remember hearing the same story. I used to love to walk through the tunnel and you always get the feeling like your being told to run.
Then walking along the street you always felt eyes were on you. Kids never ventured down the street during Halloween because of the creek. So no, you're not crazy, lol.
Comment by Unknown: I've lived across the street from Meadow Green Elementary 28 years. I know exactly what you're talking about.
