The ghost of a badly mangled hunter pulling a dead cougar has been said to have been witnessed on a handful of instances up on Dominguez Hills scaring people. One of the people who live here decisively asserts that this spirit loves frightening people who have the courage to disturb the silence in Lakewood.

A female with no head can repeatedly be witnessed before sunrise fluttering over the Dominguez Hills.
