was to the left of us, and you could hear it when it opened. There was also no way to get behind the nurse's station as there was a sharing room with only one door, and you would have had to walk past us to get to it.
We would have patients who were there at different times talk about how there was something weird in the one of the back corner rooms. I always felt like something was watching me and felt on edge when I was alone. Submitted

I grew up in the south side of the village. I recall one night I was woken up by the sound of sobbing outside my bedroom window. The sound frightened me even though it sounded like a child crying. When I got out of bed and peered down into the backyard through my blinds I saw a little boy dressed in a white sailor suit with light colored hair. He was glowing. I asked him ''what was wrong? He looked up at my window and continued sobbing, saying ''help me.'' I told him I couldn't help and jumped back in bed. I pulled the covers over my head. I was totally freaked! I remained under the covers until the sobbing stopped.
After about 30 minutes I got back out of bed to look and see if he was gone, and he was. I never saw him again, but weird things would happen in the house. TVs would turn on by themselves (no remotes either.) My mom's music box would turn on in the middle of the night. My father passed away in the living room when I was twelve. I often wonder if he was the prankster turning TVs and music boxes on. I have no idea who the little boy in the sailor suit was. I'm curious if anyone on the south side of the village ever saw the boy in the sailor suit. He looked like the kids you see in photos from the early 1900s. Submitted by G J
