Long Beach, California Ghost Sightings
Sightings at Bixby Village Golf Course near groundskeepers garage. There were three sightings in two weeks by different workers. The dark shadow is of a young man one time seen wearing a groundskeeper helmet. The sighting is possibly ''Albert'' who was murdered on the golf course in the mid-1980s.|

I have been ''followed'' by something for many years as my family would say. At first I did not want to conclude it was a ''ghost'' and would often reason whatever the occurrence was away as our imagination running wild. I would find a reasonable explanation for whatever it was that caused us concern. Until I started to have concrete happenings that even with all of my attempts to find reason I could not explain. So, instead I started to leave it in God's hands and when they would happen I would just pray on it and ask God to keep my family and myself healthy, happy, and safe.
Then over a year ago we moved into a house in Los Altos. I grew up in Long Beach, and after years of living in Orange County I was so excited to be back in Long Beach. I finally felt home again. About three months into my family of four living here we started having weird things happening. I think I was the first, but for the sake of my young children I kept it to myself. Then after my young sister moved in with us, the entire atmosphere in the house changed. My children were now having strange occurrences and becoming more and more upset about them. Some of the more common things were lights turning on and off, doors opening and closing, growling noises being heard, feelings of someone watching them. All of the text book things that you would read about.
I have kept a firm hand and tried to comfort them by saying it has some kind of logical explanation. However, the worst of all is our ''visitor. '' We have on many occasions seen a man around thirty standing or walking around our front door at night. We have even had knocking, and the door bell rang. When we open the door there is nothing there. We have even gone as far as called the police because it is so real. Then my four-year-old daughter started to see a man inside the house. She refers to him as ''the man'' and will at random times tell us that the man is in the room or looking at us. She describes him as white, tall, over weight with black hair and ''eyes like mommy's. '' She does not at all seem scared by him. When she sees him it is more matter of fact than a fearful thing.
Part of me is very worried by this, and part of me is very curious because my father passed away at the age of fifty while I was pregnant with her. He was so excited for her. I had no idea what the gender of my child was at the time, but he was certain it was a girl and was planning for her. Unfortunately he passed in November, and she was born in April. The man she described was to the tee the description of my father. I have asked my landlord, and he said that he has never had any experiences (he raised his family in the home) or heard of any in the home. Who knows who it is visiting my daughter. I do believe there is more than one entity here in this house in Los Altos.
