House in Long Beach near Belmont shores. As a matter of fact I think they told us it was Belmont shores not sure it was but it was was a beautiful apartment house. It was built I believe before the 1920's and it satbon the corner of Cherry and bermuda it still does. Now I came from Mission viejo and did not have a clue about the city. We had a homeless person living under our bedroom     window and on cold nights our laundry room basement. It was summer and since we were so near the Beach a. C. Was not something most homes needed. The old windows were the type you pushed up and the weight mechanisms inside the frame kept it open. Several in the House did not function properly their weights were no longer in tact. The ones in our bedroom worked... That was until late one night after just moving in they would close on their own. We thought perhaps it was the cooler damp air causing it. So my ex who was a drummer would prop the windows open with   (continued on the next page...)
