Long Beach, California Ghost Sightings - PAGE 9
(...continued from the previous page)|
Later on another tour we noticed my name and the words 'help me' spelled out in a dirty window which had not been there when we first walked into the room! At first I thought it had to have been kids from an earlier tour messing around but my husband swears that he too noticed that the words weren't there when we first walked in! I had to go to the bar after seeing that!!.

While aboard the Queen Mary for dinner I excused myself to visit the ladies room. Outside of the restaurant as I made my way down the hall there was not one person in sight which I thought was odd - especially during the summer months. Nevertheless, I was drawn into the spell of the Queen's art deco beauty and wandered around for just a bit. After freshening up in the powder room I was observing the decor, and that's when I felt as though I wasn't alone after all. You know that creepy uneasiness one experiences when something isn't right; it was like the feeling you get as though someone is watching. I turned around, but no one was there.
I then made a last glance in the mirror before leaving and saw a ''ghostly'' figure of a woman behind me! It was real alright.I abruptly went back to the restaurant but didn't mention this. They wouldn't have believed me anyway. Years later the hauntings have become well known, and now the RMS Queen Mary is recognized as one of the most haunted places in America. Imagine that!.

No need for assistance. While I am sure that evil spirits do exist this one was nothing of the sort. If in fact he was using trickery to get what he wanted he had 5 years to do it. Yet no negative occurrences.
