My name is mara mcelroy and I was with some of my friends in Mammoth and I was at the devils postpile. It was late at night and no one was there eccept for us. I wandered off the track and got lost. I found myself in a scary thick- Forest land filled with trees. I was looking through the thick trees and I saw a bright purple blury image. I got pretty scared and I started to sweat and panic. I turned around and looked     every direction I could possibly look and Miles and Miles away I could see people! I ran and ran and ran and I soon got to the people and they were Park rangers. I screamed shrieks of Joy and I said you need to help me. Im in trouble and they said sure! What's wrong and I said to make a long Story short I got lost and wandered off the path and I soon came to a thick forested land and I saw a blury purple image. I am lost and I don't know what to do. They said come in and stay in our cabin for the night and we will Wake up in the morning and investigate   (continued on the next page...)
