I already submitted a story, the Foster St. 1, but I also had experiences at the building on Escobar and Castro. I lived there before I moved to Foster Street. Then I moved back. I first lived in the studio above the on-site manager's apartment. It was cool. I just always felt watched though. When I returned to live in that building after Foster Street, we lived on the two-bedroom on the bottom floor. I saw 3 things while living there for over 2 years, one being a woman sitting on my bed facing the window overlooking Castro. She was there for a second and disappeared. Another time I saw a woman standing in the corner of my daughter's room. She was dressed in Victorian clothing. She looked like a madam of some sorts.
The word was the place used to be a saloon, but I never had that story confirmed. The 3rd thing I saw was something the size of my then 2-year old walk into my bedroom. My ex yelled at it, thinking it was our daughter, but our daughter was playing down right beside him. Very creepy. The only other things that happened is that my daughter would tell me an old man would come visit her in her room, and that his name was Jack.
But in all of the craziness we experienced, it was nothing ever alarming, nor did I ever feel like whatever entities were there were negative. I felt at ease actually, which was way opposite of what I felt when living on Foster Street. I returned to the place after all. I felt a real connection there and loved our apartment. If anything was a disturbance, it was the passerby's who randomly knocked on our windows when walking by, and the occasional tweekers fighting in the street from 3-6am, or crying teenagers who wept under our bedroom window in the middle of night.

I grew up in Martinez, and a few years ago my family and I moved to Wyoming Street. It is next to a church on Kelly Avenue. One night my little brother and I went up to the church to explore the church because we heard it was haunted. We both saw a figure that appeared before us in a doorway, an elderly woman. She whispered something that sounded like ''leave,'' and the door shut. We were both so scared and ran out as quickly as possible. The entire time we heard footsteps of someone following us. Needless to say, when we even look towards the church the hair on our neck stands up. We won't be returning.
