Comment by Anton: I grew up in Mccloud in the 70s, and as much as I love the mountains I've had enough hauntings to last a life time, but when we left something came with us.

I have to say that Mccloud CA is one of the most haunted places I have ever lived. I lived in an old Mccloud home on north Street for awhile. The ghost that was there wanted to be heard. Doors would slam on there own.

When I was alone in the house I could hear someone running up and down the stairs. One time I was downstairs and I heard someone run up the stairs and the upstairs bedroom door slam. I then heard my ex husband get up open the door and run downstairs.
He asked me if I had been up there standing next to him. I said no. He said that he heard the door open then close. He felt someone breathing on his face. At first he thought it was me getting into bed but he woke to find he was alone in the room.
One time when we were having an argument a paper plate that was in a burn box in the kitchen lifted up and hit him in the face. So many things happened in that house. The feeling in there was not a good one.
