The ghost of an aged sorceress is known to have been distinguished on a handful of instances calling names by Fresno Slough. Locals here who have perceived this phantom argue this phantom gets pleasure from startling unwise folks who have the courage to disturb the peace in Mendota. A man with a big hole through his chest may from time to time be made out by Mendota Dam late at night gazing at the water. A female's body having a bat's head was perceived trying to hide a body in Fresno Slough in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost saluted the onlooker. One thing is for guaranteed, this phantom undeniably is frightening; one that you wouldn't want to come across after midnight. A guy having the head of a beast became visible relaxing on a bench in a house in Mendota. When the ghost was noticed it vanished into the night. A lady on fire, hauling a gas bottle was perceived yelling at the watcher to go away next to a streetlamp in Mendota. The ghost was consumed by the air after being noticed. Locals here say that this ghost may be the soul of a local person who passed away here in Mendota some time ago.
