Mentone, California Ghost Tales


In the daytime you may very well think Mentone, California is just the same as any other municipality, but there are ghosts in this municipality, and they show up in the dark hours. Ghosts are so routine around here; a lot of folks who live here don’t even worry about it any longer. Some folks who live here claim these tales are not true, but only some of the locals of Mentone are still alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A female afire, holding a petroleum container showed up on the pinnacle of Crafton Hills very late at night monitoring the
 
    vista. When the viewer became visible the ghost fled.

The spirit of a grower in a farmer hat was perceived before sunrise flying across the Crafton Hills. The arrival of the bystander scared the
  phantom who then disappeared.

A young girl sporting a blood-covered wedding dress emerged pushing orbs about down next to Hot Springs before dawn. The phantom mumbled about avenging a slaying.

A gentleman having an axe in his head was spotted in Centennial Orange Grove late at night gathering sticks to make a fire. The bystander was frightened and ran off.

A man's body having the head of a rat has often been observed hauling a dead body from the freezing water of Alder Creek at night.

A female body is often noticed taking a rest in a beanbag in a residence near Mentone. One
of the folks who live here strongly claims that this ghost may be the soul of a resident who died here in Mentone some time ago. Regardless of what people utter, it in all certainty is a bloodcurdling spirit that you shouldn't go searching for.

The phantom of a female with demonic signs engraved into her hand has been said to have been perceived on numerous occasions on the water's edge of East Highland Reservoir going wild. Some of the folks who live in this town argue this spirit might be a distinguished former time resident of Mentone.

A female with larvae crawling out of her eyes may often be observed very late at night hurrying after a passing Ford on a dark highway near Mentone. One thing is for guaranteed, this ghost undoubtedly is creepy; one that should be kept away from.

The ghost of a shackled up female may be witnessed often in the rear seat of a Pontiac by the driver setting eyes on the phantom in his rear view mirror after midnight.

A female hauling her head beneath her arm has every so often been perceived trimming bushes in the front garden of an apartment in Mentone. In any event, this is an unlikable ghost that you wouldn't want to meet at the stroke of midnight.

The ghost of a youthful lady in a blood-splattered wedding dress has been said to have been observed on frequent occasions hauling a corpse over the grass in Abraham Lincoln Shrine in the early morning hours.

A decapitated lady has frequently been observed scrutinizing Bledsoe Gulch in detail at the stroke of midnight.

The ghost of a young girl is often distinguished late in the night fluttering over Manzanita Flat. It has been said that this particular ghost is almost certainly the stressed ghost of a local person who used to dwell here in Mentone.

A form with a skeleton face sporting shadowy robes is known to have been perceived on a few instances by a guy hunting in a forest near Mentone. If you listen to the local residents, this spirit is the undeparted soul of a long dead Mentone person who lived here.
