Monrovia, California Ghost Tales I grew up in a small apartment complex in Monrovia on Ivy & Lemon across from the Monrovia city hall. They were extremely haunted. I lived there for 8 years. I did some research and found out that there use to be a hotel built on that foundation that burned down in the 1930's or 40's that killed people including a little boy who would be seen around the apartments. People would see him looking into there windows. My mom would get a phone call from are neighbors cause they would mistake the boy as being me... Just wanted to know if anybody knows if these hauntings are still going on at those apartments. Ive seen Ghost atleast 8 different ones. Door handle jingling. I would smell smoke and see the silhouette smoke on the walls. I have actually been touched by a ghost while in my bed. Are neighbors downstairs have seen alot to. I remember them telling us there walls would Breath in and out. Now thats some Poltergeist stuff. Loads of ghost stories   have been passed on by the locals. People who have never stayed overnight in this settlement will say to you it's untrue, but the living dead may perhaps show themselves to you if you stay for a few days in Monrovia. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a man hauling a sword can be observed very frequently in Aloysia Moore Park before dawn gazing. A lady with larvae crawling out of her mouth has now and then been distinguished trying on clothes in a Monrovia flat. One thing is for sure, this is an unlikable ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find. The phantom of a bound up woman is every so often noticed crawling out of a manhole on a Monrovia lane late at night. Well, it's a scary spirit that is better not disrupted. A female gripping her head underneath her arm has supposedly been observed on numerous instances at Arcadia Wash very late at night tossing pebbles into the stream. The ghost of a man having half his head absent can every so often be witnessed down beside Sturtevant Falls late in the night calling names of people.
