I used to run there all the way to the dam and back in high school in the 1970s and early 1980s. There is a lot is strange things that used to go on. I came across a devil worshiper's altar south of Washington Boulevard, the grass used to grow very tall there and you could not see it from the road. There was a painting of a goats head on a block of cement with melted wax from candles all around it.     There used to be painted red arrows on the path in both directions pointing the way there. In the early evening sometimes you could hear what only can be described as cannon fire in the distance. Ask anybody who's lived on Bluff Road for some time. I'm certain everybody has heard it. It always creeped me out to run there in the early evening. It often felt like you were being watched or followed. Haven't been there in years, I'm sure it's changed. It was very demonic, knocking on windows and my name being called at night, faces on the wall, it was very scary.
