Grew up in the 1960's on the 100 block of south Sierra Vista in Monterey park. The house we lived in had the ghost of and old man who had built the home. He would wake me up in the middle of the night by grabbing my feet and then bumping into things in the room while I watched him.
Apparently he was blind and still thought he was blind; he was upset about us remodeling and adding on the back of the house which (oh joy) was my bedroom. He also used to like to ring our doorbell early in the mornings on the weekends- you'd open the door and there'd be no one there.
I sometimes wonder how he's adjusting to his afterlife in 2011!!! It's been a long time but I'm sure he's still there.

Comment by anonymous: The ghost is probably enjoying a nice bowl of pork fried rice now... I as well grew up in Monterey Park in the 70s and 80s... And had fun experiences at Barne's Park in the ''fire truck''.
