The House was nestled in the Orange Groves on the outskirts of town. I can remember vividly the ''shadow people'' that would terrorize my younger brother and I nightly. While they never actually spoke we would Wake up in the middle of the night each night and see several shadows walking in and out of our bedroom into other     areas of the house. We would lay petrified while we witnessed their presence too afraid to Call out to our parents in the other room. I tried to scream on one occasion which summoned one of the ''shadow people'' to the side of my bed. I still don't know if maybe my hair was caught on something or if the ''shadow'' actually yanked on my hair but it was the Only time I tried to Call for help. We had other incidents such as voices calling out that sounded like they we standing right behind you the sound of old cars cracking the gravel on the narrow driveway   (continued on the next page...)
