You see the old woman was the bossy girl whose mind snapped, and she aged 90 years in one second. She never said a word except for the hideous cackle once in a while, usually heard by the asylum staff at the stroke of ''midnight. '' Grandma sure scared the bejeezers out of me and my friends when she told that story! I have many more of Grandma' stories. She was a great storyteller. More to come in the future. .

I live in Morro Bay and one night there suddenly appeared a woman wearing a pearl necklace and a white dress that looked like it was from the 1920s. She was in the far corner of my living room upstairs.
I saw her clearly and she appeared to see me. She then walked through our second story wall onto the balcony. I went outside to follow her but she was nowhere to be found. My husband has seen her too and calls her Nelly.|
We have no idea of who this could be.
