I used to go to this place in Greer Ranch, off of Scenic View Drive, with some friends. We called it the ''enchanted forest. '' It was these patches of trees by a dried up creek bed. After about 6 times of going there, or so, we kept hearing what sounded like footsteps. There was no house within a mile, so we just figured it was wildlife. Every time we went after that, the footsteps sounded louder and closer, and they definitely sounded like human footsteps. The second to last time I went there I was with my best friend. I brought a 1 million candlelight power spotlight. I waited until the footsteps got close then shined the light in the direction of the footsteps. There was nothing there. My best friend and I jumped in my car, and took off. Swearing to never return again.
A friend of ours convinced us to go, assuring us it was nothing. After about 10 minutes, the footsteps were surrounding us simultaneously, on either side of us. The friend that convinced us to go, jumped in the car, yelling ''come on let's go! Hurry up!'' Obviously terrified of what he experienced. I never returned there again. The only thing I could figure was that an old Native American burial ground was there, and we were disturbing them. I'm not sure if it's still accessible by car though, since I don't live in California anymore. If you want to experience a ghost, go here at night. It made a believer out of me and everyone I know that went there.

My old school was definitely haunted! One particular day after school, I was in my mom's classroom with my brother and my friends, whose mom is also a teacher. It was raining and had thunder and lightning. Out parents were in a meeting, and me and my friend were watching a movie. Suddenly the phone rang. The person says, ''get away from this school!!'' Then we went inside the bathrooms because that was the only place with locks. Then we heard footsteps. We stood on the toilets hiding from whoever it was. Then this woman appeared in stall and says ''PINKIE LEAVEEEE,'' so I ran out of the stall out of the hallway and saw the janitor. We asked him ''was there any kids in the hallways or teachers?'' And he says ''you guys are the kids here, and all the adults are home or in the meeting. '' I wasn't even in that hallway yet.
We walked back scared suddenly blood comes down my arm from scratches the same with my friend and brother. Then we walked into the meeting and told the adults what happened. The principal checked the halls and basically everywhere. She said she saw nothing. Please believe me. This is true. Ask my brother and my friend they will say the exact thing because it happened to them as well.
