National City, California Ghost Tales By daylight National City, California is the same as any other American settlement, but when the spooky shadows of the nighttime move in the undead invade. Rugs move about, speech coming from the night. Not everybody trusts in the reports the folks who live here tell, but the stressed spirits of National City are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a 10 feet huge man is repeatedly witnessed in the rear seat of a Chevy by the driver seeing the spirit in his rear view mirror around midnight. It has been claimed that this particular spirit is the struggling spirit of a former National City person who lived here. The ghost of a lady having half her head missing may often be distinguished trimming bushes in the back yard of an apartment in National City. One thing's for sure, it's a frightening ghost that is better not upset. A lady having a machete in her head can be observed over and over again by Chula Vista Harbor late at night staring       at the water. The phantom of a young Indian combatant has occasionally been seen shouting at the bystander to be off by Chollas Creek. The ghost of an aircraft pilot has supposedly been noticed on a small number of instances chucking pebbles in Chollas Valley in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost of a brawny lumberjack   holding a big axe was perceived by the water at Crown Cove carving a hollow. This individual ghost has been observed very often in this location. Well, it unquestionably is a bloodcurdling ghost that you do not want to come across at the stroke of midnight. A scary skeleton appeared mounding pieces of wood by Otay River Marsh. There have been other reports involving this phantom in the area. In any event, this is an unsympathetic ghost that any rational person would not want to meet. A fluorescent human figure was seen in Adams Avenue Park after midnight hiding a body by a sizeable rock. Other accounts of this ghost have been conveyed. If you listen to the folks who live here, this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while driving through National City some decades ago. No matter what, it's a creepy ghost that you shouldn't go looking for. The ghost of a young-looking gentleman sporting a coat appeared searching for a book next to the water at Sweetwater Reservoir. Numerous folks in the vicinity have had comparable sightings involving the same ghost.
