Newark, California Ghost Tales

I have lived in Newark all my life. Being 16 you hear about a lot Of stories and urban legends but a lot of these can be proven. Newark used to be an old farm and I bet a lot of native Americans lived on this land too. That explains a lot why the houses here are haunted. I remember at my old house on Haley st. Hearing a lot of strange noises. Like footsteps in the hallway when no one else Is home. I also remember hearing the sound of glass breaking and the sound Of someone washing dishes. And now at my current house its creepy. I know that the house Was built in the late 1800s. Now when I first moved there I always got the feeling I Was being watched. I'm not sure if that's me being paranoid or If I really am being watched. Well one day I was sitting in the living room Watching TV and I hear my middle name being called and it sounded just like my Mom So I said ''yea?!'' and I heard it again only more urgent. I got up and ran down the hallway and when I opened her room door. She was fast asleep. So I woke her up and asked her if she had
called me and she said no. Even though I could clearly see that, it scared me. So I ran back in to the living room and jumped on the couch and not even a second later I felt something jump onto the cushion right next to me. I quickly jumped up and you could see an imprint. That's not the only experience but it was the first one. There are more That
a lot of my friends were present for. .

While the sun is up the local residents in Newark, California go about their lives precisely equal to anywhere other, but there are bizarre things occurring in this city during the night time. The living dead are all over this municipality as the local residents will tell you. A number of local residents declare these descriptions are untrue, but not all of the dwellers of Newark are alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A woman carrying her head beneath her arm was witnessed reading a newsletter in Alameda Creek Quarries Regional Park at the stroke of midnight. The ghost mentioned revenging a killing. No matter what folks say, it is unquestionably a chilling ghost that any sane person would not want to bump into.

The ghost of a young female wearing a blood-splattered dress was distinguished clutching a cranium up on the
highest spot of Coyote Hills. The observer was frightened and ran away. If you listen to the locals, this ghost likes startling foolish people who have the courage to disrupt the calm in Newark.
