car, walked right through the fence, and disappeared into the night. My coworker added that he has also experienced paranormal instances. He had gone inside the Norconian to use the bathroom, and when he came out his squad car had all the lights on. All of his coworkers were back at the station. Submitted by Anonymous

Does anyone know any history on the land between the cemetery on Arlington and Pumpkin Rock? I have lived in one of the newer homes on Mount Shasta Place since they were built about 15 years ago (it is my father's home). I can't believe I have found this page. I've been struggling with coping with the things I've seen and felt over the years. I need answers, but there's a lot of peace knowing there are others with similar experiences nearby. I'm glad I'm not completely insane.

We experienced doors unlocking themselves, bedroom doors and cabinets opening and closing, and the string lights in my room turn themselves on. I felt pressure on my chest like someone was laying on top of me. I felt watched, and I never slept well.
It got so bad about eight or nine years ago that I thought I would hurt myself because of an overwhelming feeling of sadness that just came over me and was not mine. I moved out of the house and in with my mom at that time and would only go visit my dad during the days. Recently I've had to stay there for a night or two each week because of my work schedule and needing him to help get my daughter to and from school (I'm a nurse; I work 12's).
The occurrences are worse now. We have seen shadows and heard whispers, including the continuation of the same previously described events. My daughter has her own room there, but she sleeps in bed with me. She said ''I don't know mom. I can't tell you why, but I don't like my room''. My daughter is 7 and sleeps fine on her own at our own home. When I stay at this house the depression comes back. I would not say I suffer from depression, but there is a pattern I have noticed about my mental health, and it all revolves around that house.
