North Fork, California Ghost Tales I live in the mountains in North Fork. On Road 225, I just moved here and last night I was woke with the smell of dirt and meldow. I went to the bathroom and layed back down. Then I heard someone knocking on a door in the house. the knock was like a pattern. When I got up no one was there. Then I heard running through the house. Like two small childern. When I yelled who is there, it all ended. This isnt my first siting. The spirit of a 12 feet high colossal giant can be spotted over and over again on the shore of Manzanita Lake attempting to   exclaim something. A lot of locals argue this ghost may very well be a distinguished past local of North Fork. The ghost of a female with half her head missing is occasionally distinguished twinkling a kerosene lamp by South Fork Bluffs. A lady with an axe in her head has been observed on many occasions in Crane Valley at night pondering.
