I remember growing up in a house on Harvest Ave. I'm 16 now but I lived there from birth to the summer between my 1st and 2nd grade year of school. I would see a tall lady with a sunken in face walk through our hallway sometimes she would walk into my room and sit in the chair next to my window. Strangely I wasn't scared of her. I would play with my babies while she watched and sometimes I would draw pictures of her. She seemed to like it. She would watch me as I slept and when I woke up she would be gone.

After she came around for a while she stopped. It was almost a year before I saw her again but when she returned she brought a small dog with her. Since there was a dog's paw print in the cement in front of the house I thought it was kind of cool.

I told my mom and grandma about the lady and the dog - my mom thought it was kind of weird but my grandma encouraged me to talk to her. She told me her name I can't recall it right now and said they dog's name was skippy. We where just renting the house and didn't find out until later that the owner's childhood dog was named skippy and the lady I had been seeing was his mother. She had been dying of cancer at the time. Her body was only kept alive by machines but her soul was in the house looking over me. She would sit by the window because that had been her favorite place when she was living in the house with her son (the owner).
