Several people who live here allege there are no ghosts, but Nubieber is full of undead spirits just waiting to freak you out.

The phantom of a steel-miner is rumored to have been noticed on several occasions observing the vista from the pinnacle of Bald Mountain late in the night. One of the people who live here determinedly claims that this phantom enjoys startling foolhardy people who come searching for phantoms in Nubieber. In any event, this is a hostile spirit that is preferably not disturbed.

The ghost of a guy clothed as a handy man may often be noticed late in the night checking out Big Valley in detail.

    spirit of a gentleman wearing a police uniform can be made out often laundering a blood-covered jacket in Boyd Spring at the stroke of midnight.

The ghost of an elderly man with a long gray beard has every now and then been made out floating along Bull Run Slough after midnight. Regardless of what, it sure is a bloodcurdling ghost that you would not want to come across at night.
