My boyfriend about a year and a half ago was walking from my house at the time off rice road one night and he was walking up the road near the wind mill next to the river bottom where there is a curve in the road and he was a real skeptic about ghosts at the time but a car was coming toward him with it's lights on and he all of the sudden saw a figure of a person in the light (he couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman) holding an umbrella (it

wasn't raining) and he said they were completely visible and when the car passed him and it went dark again the figure disappeared instantly.
He ran

all the way home and it was a long way back.

A man has been seen annually at the top of the bell tower plunging to his death only to disappear feet before the ground. I personally have seen this happen three years in a row on February 15.
