Olancha, California Ghost Tales When I was a kid our family use to live in the back of the old Ed Deal house. There was another family that also lived in another part of that house. The Ed Deal house use to be an old folks home (I have no idea...how or when it closed). There was a long hallway and I can't remember how many rooms, but several of the rooms had kitchens in them. I shared a room with 3 of my sisters. The story was that one of the elderly gentleman that lived in our room was in love with a younger woman and I'm not sure if they were married or not, but she left him for someone else.....so, the old man hung himself in the closet of the room. One night we were all in the front living room of that house, when one of my sisters came from the hallway screaming! She claimed that she was sleeping and woke up seeing an old man jumping on my bed and then he through a bucket of water on her! After going to the room, my father discovered that the bed was indeed wet but also that it was not urine.....but it was indeed water on the bed. There are many stories associated with       that house....from rifles flying down the hallway chasing someone to beds rising up off the floor and stopping within a few feet of the ceiling from the boys of the other family that lived there. I can't say that I've experienced anything....but I'm sure my sister did !.
