Orange, California Ghost Tales | |
|
I live in a 8 year old commumity up on a hill by maybary ranch. Every year at the end of the school year I'll see a young girl walking up and down the street out in front of my house she wears a white prom like dress. And she never seems to get older, taller or ever wear something different just walks up and down the hill. Last year I tried following her and when I got about 500 feet away and called out to her she just vanished. I've come to call her serrono sarah. Submitted by anonymous
I used to live alone in a house in Old Towne, Orange. At 6:30 p.m. every evening, from the dining room (west-south) part of the house, running feet to the hallway (east north). Sounded like 2 pairs of children's feet in hard sole shoes. Not any earthly reason because there was not hole in the crawlspace, and no children in the house. Also every once in a while the door between the living room and hallway (where the running footsteps halted) would mysteriously be open or be closed. My cat would be startled when this happened, and I would look

in that direction and see the door open or closed. At night, I would sense someone was in the hallway. One time we had an earthquake (Whittier earthquake in 1980's) in the early morning hours, and I ran into the hall, half asleep. Very frightened and sleepwalking, I said the figure I saw there, ''Oh the earthquake! It scared me!'' Then I notice

I was talking to something not human. That the only time I wasn't afraid. Submitted by Lydia
A big flying thing, must be a bat, because it was at night, flew out of the house on Glassell near Collins. It flew to my car, and then in a circle, and then just out of site. The scary thing, it was Halloween night, and I was picking up my little brother. Never saw anything like that since or before. Submitted by Lydia
Orange, California seems the same as any other area in the States, but there are remarkable things taking place in this city in the night time. Tables slide about, words coming from no-place. People who have never stayed for the night in this municipality will let you know it's superstition, but the ghosts of Orange are out tonight trying to find someone to scare.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

in the early morning hours. Residents allege that this phantom might be a celebrated yesteryear local of Orange.
