Pacoima, California Ghost Tales We lived in a mobile home park on Glenoaks near Hansen Hills. My wife and I both saw a man repeatedly walking in our hallway. He was about 5'7'' wearing a red and blue plaid shirt and a dark blue baseball cap and jeans. Several times he walked into our room at night and spoke to us. He kept saying he was sorry and seemed to think he was in his own house and got lost somehow. The lady that sold us the house was a widow. She said she hated being in the house alone and would keep the television on 24 hours a day. She swore her husband did not die inside the house or in his bedroom but no one wanted to go into his room and no one would sleep in there. We gave that room to our daughter and she was only 3 or 4 years old she started saying that ''God the Magical Boogieman'' was in her room. I went to stay in the room with her until she fell asleep and then I saw the whole ceiling lift up 3 inches and then settle down again. It did this several times. There was light coming though the cracks in the ceiling when it was dark out at night. I don't       know where that light was coming from. We often saw the curtains sucking in and out of the windows as if the house was breathing. We put the house up for sale but could not sell it. We finally just moved out and let the mortgage holder take the house from us. As we were cleaning out the cabinets in the dining room my wife found a packet of photographs.   She started looking at them and saw pictures of the outside of the house and then pictures of the lady that sold us the house and then there was a picture of her with a man about 5'7'' wearing a red and blue plaid shirt and a dark blue baseball cap! He WAS the ghost we had seen in the hall! We were glad to move out of that house and heard that it stood vacant for many years after that. One of the local residents decisively declares that this phantom is the phantom of a traveler that was killed while driving through Pacoima a long time ago.
