I was wondering what ghost would have been visiting in my house, and I only found out yesterday that my ex-fiancÚ, Susie, died two days before New Year's Day 2014.

Comment by anonymous: Maybe it's your mom who passed away a few years before Susie? It could also be your mother's abusive boyfriend you ''took care of'' when you were younger.

I live off of 20th Street West and Rancho Vista (AVE. P). Things get really weird in my house. My mom, brother, and I have lived here for fifteen years, but only in the last five years did things get really weird. Sometimes my brother and I would be in my room, and we would hear a loud banging noise downstairs even though my mom and the dogs were out of town. My mom and brother experienced the most, but I have had my own encounters.

First off my mom said she has seen a shadowy figure run through the upstairs hallway and disappear as well as an orb sighting and hair pulling at night. However, my brother had it the worst by far. He would stay up late, like 1am every night and go to his room. All the lights were off. He tried opening his door, but it only opened a few inches and then something was stopping him from opening it any wider. He said he pushed as hard as he could, and it would not budge. He thought it was our dog, but he is only about seventy pounds, and I do not think he would have the strength or know how to push the door back. Finally, the door opened wide and there was nothing there. When he is home alone he can hear someone call his name, but whatever it was would do this most often at night when he would wake up to a voice calling his name.

I don't know how weird this is, but one night my girlfriend was asleep, and I was about to drift off when she turned over, eyes wide and said something along the lines of ''Your house is haunted. '' I was just like what the hell. I tried talking back to her, but she closed her eyes. Well I woke her up for real this time, and she said she did not remember saying anything like that when all of a sudden my bed shook. And my bed was a mattress without a bed frame resting on the floor. I guess you could call it shaking, but it was more like someone was banging on the floor below, and it was causing the bed to vibrate.

I mean my room is on the second story, and I am above the garage and laundry room. It's in the middle of the night, and my brother moved out by then. I have no idea what caused that. There have been many noises from my garage at night that my mom, girlfriend, and I hear. We always look at each other from across the hall like ''did you hear that?'' Always the garage is locked from the outside and inside. Weird stuff.
