Pearblossom, California Ghost Tales A friend and I were driving home to LA from Vegas late one night in 1989 after visiting my parent's new home there.  We left late and found ourselves on Pearblossom highway around 2:00 am.  We were talking and listening to music when we came upon a tall man in a long black cape with a really wide brimmed black hat that we could see up ahead in the headlights.  When he turned to look at our car we could see his ghostly white face, big wide eye and large creepy grin starring at us.  We both looked at each other and with the most freaked out looks on our face and said ''oh my God -did you see that''!!!  I then turned to look back to see if I could see him again and he was gone.  The guy actually looked exactly like the scary preacher from the movie Poltergeist (sp?).  We were pretty freaked out for the rest of the trip home.  Anyone else ever see that man or ghost???.
