Penn Valley, California Ghost Tales

This one still scares me. I was driving to a spot to drink a beer with a friend of mine when I was about 17-years old, at a new subdivision called Canyon Creek, in Penn Valley, off Indian Springs Road. The builders had first built the roads, no houses were started, yet, and it was a perfect place to go and get drunk or whatever.
On this particular day I drove to a random court, thinking I had been there already, and everything was cool. My friend got out of my truck to take a leak, and I got out to stretch and scope the spot. There was a huge oak tree that I started walking towards when a whirlwind began to swirl right in front of me. It was very strong, and there was not a bit of wind anywhere else, only right in front of me. A monster voice screamed, louder than anything I had ever heard in my life ?GET OUT OF HERE!? I thought it was Satan himself, the voice was so terrible, and I ran, jumped in my truck as fast I could and screeched out of the court, my heart beating out of my chest. My friend had to run to catch up, and jump in my

truck without my slowing down. He was asking me what the hell I was doing, and what was wrong with me. I couldn?t believe he didn?t hear that voice?it was so loud and powerful. I can safely say that I will never return to that place as long as I live, and I feel sorry for anyone that builds a house near that oak. .

Most
of the locals in Penn Valley, California are merrily uninformed of the horrific riddles this settlement keeps; this location has a fine number of spirits. There have been a lot of incidents with individuals from the other side. Doubters don't believe in the local ghost testimonies, but only some of the natives of Penn Valley are still alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of the driver of a train has repeatedly been seen looking down into the water at Peacock Point at midnight. Nevertheless, this is an unfriendly ghost that any normal person would not want to bump into.

A lady with no head is regularly spotted floating down Clear Creek around midnight. If you listen to the local residents, this spirit is the spirit of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Penn Valley some time ago. In any event, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.

The spirit of a young-looking female with a rope around her neck is rumored to have
been perceived on a handful of occasions at Pine Island Beach moving orbs about. No matter what, it without a doubt is a chilling spirit that should be left alone.
