Penn Valley, California Ghost Tales This one still scares me. I was driving to a spot to drink a beer with a friend of mine when I was about 17-years old, at a new subdivision called Canyon Creek, in Penn Valley, off Indian Springs Road. The builders had first built the roads, no houses were started, yet, and it was a perfect place to go and get drunk or whatever. On this particular day I drove to a random court, thinking I had been there already, and everything was cool. My friend got out of my truck to take a leak, and I got out to stretch and scope the spot. There was a huge oak tree that I started walking towards when a whirlwind began to swirl right in front of me. It was very strong, and there was not a bit of wind anywhere else, only right in front of me. A monster voice screamed, louder than anything I had ever heard in my life ?GET OUT OF HERE!? I thought it was Satan himself, the voice was so terrible, and I ran, jumped in my truck as fast I could and screeched out of the court, my heart beating out of my chest. My friend had to run to catch up, and jump in my       truck without my slowing down. He was asking me what the hell I was doing, and what was wrong with me. I couldn?t believe he didn?t hear that voice?it was so loud and powerful. I can safely say that I will never return to that place as long as I live, and I feel sorry for anyone that builds a house near that oak. . Furniture turn about, cries out of no-place. Not everybody trusts in the testimonies the locals tell, but the things that occur here in Penn Valley in the night time will spook you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A frightening skeleton was distinguished gazing down into the water at Peacock Point in the early morning hours before sunrise. The viewer got freaked out and ran away. A glow-in-the-dark human form came into sight by Clear Creek looking menacing. The spirit didn't appear to be anxious by the witnesses. Whichever way, this is a nasty spirit that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The ghost of a youthful gentleman sporting a coat was spotted at Pine Island Beach very late at night gazing at the waves down beside the shore. The ghost reacted to the viewer. In any case, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that is preferably not disturbed.
