I used to live in an old victorian House for a few years when I was little (back in the Early to mid 90s I think). Even then it just Felt like there was some kind of evil presence in the house. Also at night we had this cat that for some reason would Chase after imaginary things in the hall. You could hear her as she would pounce on something trying to grab it but there would be nothing there and a few seconds later you'd here her again. Maybe she saw something we couldn't.
