What shocked me more was that when I attempted to play tuba it wouldn't work. Central used to be a Camp for the US Army during world war 2. It is said that the ghost of 'Billy' died there of starvation because he was left alone in a room locked.
I later found out from one of the teachers at Pittsburg high school that there is a documented death of a William who was an AVID tuba player and died near that place because of a bomb that was being tested.

I'm 18 years old and have lived here in Pittsburg CA since I was 3 years old. I grew up in the same house I still live in today which sits in West Pitt off of Balclutha a couple blocks away from Willow Cove Elementary.
