I just laid there slow praying in my head to be nice and not hurt me... He said ''it's OK... Hi there'' and I sat up real quick and the pressure from my shoulder lifted.
This isn't the first time I had a similar experience however the other experience the ghost didn't speak English. My pet starting going crazy barking and scratching on his kennel in the kitchen before I ran out to get him and have him sleep with me cause I was scared : (.

While growing up in Anderson we lived in a house on Jacqueline St that a man was shot by his son in. I remember although no moonlight hit the hallway we would see shadows as if trees were being blown by wind, we would also hear scary things at night.
My dad worked nights and I could tell this really bothered my mom even though she tried calming our fears. I don't remember most of what happened but even at a young age I knew a presence was there.
I would love to know if anyone else experienced anything on Jacqueline St.

Comment by Tom: To Pam on Jaquelin Street in Anderson.... I lived on Jaquelin Street in 1982 / 1983. I lived in the house right before the very end. I was attending Anderson High School at that time and was in a school play.
One night my dad who usually gave me a ride to and from the school asked me if I could find a way back home as him and my mom had other plans. Another student gave me a ride to vaughns market (I don't know if it's still there) which is near the beginning of jacquelin Street.
I got down by Verde Vale school when I felt like I was being watched. Brushing it off as near Halloween creepiness I just kept walking towards home. Something told me to turn around and I listened to my instinct.
There was someone standing there staring at me. This person walked towards me but I could hear no footsteps. I picked up my pace and kept looking behind me . One of my neighbors was outside and I got his attention.
This person or thing or spirit or whatever it was jumped into the blackberry bushes when my neighbor walked out to the street holding a baseball bat. We looked in the bushes and didn't even see where anyone had flattened the bushes.
A few weeks later a friend of mines younger sister said she was chased in front of Verde Vale too.
