There have been many incidents with persons from the other side. A number of local residents claim there are no spirits, but if you have the courage to stay overnight in Redwood Valley, you may well notice a spirit for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a female with a plastic bag fastened around her head is every now and then distinguished going crazy in Coyote Valley Reservation on a dark night. Whatever folks say, this is an unpleasant ghost that you don't want to come across on a dark night. A large scary ghost has supposedly been noticed on a handful of instances at night drifting down Bakers Creek. The ghost of a youthful man in       a confederate uniform can sometimes be witnessed gulping gasoline from a pump at a fueling station in Redwood Valley. The ghost of a chained up guy has often been witnessed on the apex of Laughlin Range in the early morning hours before sunrise examining the vista. The ghost of a young woman drenched in blood is known to have been seen   on frequent instances at Coyote Dam after midnight devastating a bag. Scores of local residents allege this spirit may very well be a well-known days gone by resident of Redwood Valley. Anyway, it's a chilling ghost that any sensible person wouldn't want to encounter. A man with a large hole through his torso may regularly be made out gulping blood from a bottle next to the water at Lake Mendocino. A woman's body having a horse's head may be perceived frequently talking into the night as if somebody besides was present. A guy having the head of a demon has every now and then been seen before sunrise studying Dead Horse Canyon in detail. A partly rotten human dead body is every now and then perceived walking a dog in the early morning hours before sunrise on a murky Redwood Valley residential road. The ghost of a planter sporting a worn hat has been made out on frequent occasions before sunrise looking across Hopper Flat. Residents here assert that this ghost is most likely the stressed ghost of a resident who used to reside here in Redwood Valley.
