I grew up in Richmond on the corner of 22nd and Roosevelt. The house I lived in had a small half bedroom connected to the master bedroom. It always had a strange feeling to it, and the small closet couldn't have doors or it would shake and slam them. The garage and connected storage room also had a sinister feel to them. One of my aunts saw hands coming through the window of the laundry room which would have been impossible since the window was too high to reach from the outside.

Comment by Bud: I was completely shocked when I saw this because unless it's a set of totally unbelievable coincidences. I know the exact house you are talking about, and I'm pretty sure we are related. The corner by the heater where we got sent as punishment had a pretty uneasy vibe to it as well, and Mack's old room I never even liked getting too close to the garage door as a kid. It always scared the hell out of me. Always wondered if anyone else felt the same. My dad has told me the story about the hands. They even checked to see if anyone was outside. Good to know dad wasn't lying and that I'm not the only one who thought that place was haunted. That house is the reason I spend too much time on sights like this. .
Hotel M. is haunted for sure! I was with my husband we ordered our dinner and both witnessed the bread leap in the air 4 inches and flip!! First of all I don't drink alcohol so I wasn't tipsy drunk, non of that.
There was no draft no A/C or fan anywhere. Always ''heard'' it was haunted years ago but had never been there before and never really believed in that kind of stuff. Crazy! Probably won't go there again. Too weird.

Comment by Ghostexplorers .org: I have heard of others having experiences. I think the hotel downplays it though.
