Ridgecrest, California Ghost Tales About a year ago, my boyfriend,his son and I moved into an apartment on Richmond Road in Ridgecrest, CA. We had some crazy things happen to us. My boyfriend saw his sons toys go into mid air, and then get tossed across the room, he came inches away from a male ghost form that stared him down, and a female presence kept touching him. I was also touched. I saw things in the apartment turn off for no reason, and sometimes turn back on. I have felt cold spots around me. I have also felt like I was being watched. Not to mention, my boyfriends son kept trying to tell us that a little boy named Billy kept playing with his toys. We would even walk into rooms and doors or cupboards would be opened when we knew we shut them. And the noises were crazy too. So, we had a friend come in with a recorder, and we were able to pick up some EVPs! We have sinced moved, but we even tried to contact Ghost Hunters to see if they wouldn't mind coming out and checking it out for us because we knew we weren't crazy. We have even had friends come over that have seen       and felt things. I wish I had pictures. I would totally upload them if I did. I wish I could go back in there one more time to video it to see if I could get anything. Anyway, Coldwell Banker owns it now, so I guess we can't. Dark time is undeparted time here. Some residents declare these tales are lies, but seeing is believing and if you stay for a few days here in Ridgecrest, you may very well perceive a ghost. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of the driver of a train is regularly seen posting a packet at a Ridgecrest post office. A lady devoid of a head has allegedly been witnessed on many instances swallowing regular from a gasoline pump at a fueling station in Ridgecrest. The phantom of a young-looking lady with a cord around her neck can be distinguished very often walking a Cocker Spaniel in the early morning hours on a dark Ridgecrest lane. No matter what, this is an unfriendly ghost that you would not want to bump into after midnight. An extremely bloodcurdling spirit has sometimes been made out hovering across Mirror Lake around midnight. The ghost of an elderly female clutching a shot gun is once in a while seen in Desert Memorial Park at midnight turning toward the eye witness.
