This happened in 1978 between July and September on Stobbs Street Riverside, California. I do not know the address but was told that it happened in some apartments. My parents were sleeping one night when suddenly my father woke up and started hitting my mother then jumped out of bed then ran down stairs where she found him staring at the wall. My father said he was asleep then felt something tickling his feet. He thought it was my mother. He opened his eyes and saw something in bed in between them. He started punching at it but was unable to hit it. Whatever it was jumped out of bed and ran downstairs where he continued to fight with it. It then ran into the wall after knocking down a small statue ''which turned to dust'' leaving a perfect off colored circle into the paint. My mother had come downstairs only to see him with scratches looking at the wall.
A couple of days later, my mother had just put me to sleep when she saw something down the downstairs hallway smiling at her. At that moment my dad walked through the door from work scaring her. My mom turned to my dad telling him ''that wasn't funny. '' She then looked down the hall only to see that nothing was there. The description of this thing only varies by height. When my dad was fighting it, it was around four feet tall. When my mother saw it, it seemed like it was taller or was floating. Both claimed that it was wearing an Arabian/Sheik outfit with a headdress. They said that its skin was pinkish with three fingers or talons. Its eyes were large, black, and sunken. My mom described the smile as a picket fence. It was at this same place that my older brother had seen a shadow figure on the door with glowing eyes which caused him to have an asthma attack.

Comment by Bokaba: Interesting story. I will research your parents' description of this encounter. It appears if there apartments on Stobbs Way they have been torn down.

In September of 1999, I was a student at California Baptist University. One night around 10:00 pm, I felt like going for a walk around the block. I walked out toward the cross streets of Magnolia Ave and Adams. At that corner, across from Magnolia Ave. There was a Baptist church. I looked toward the shopping center and saw a young man, about eighteen or nineteen sitting on the curb in front of some apartments. I had a craving to smoke and decided he looked harmless enough to ask for a cigarette.
As I got closer, I noticed his clothing was very out of date. He dressed as teenagers did in the early 90s, not 1999. His haircut and even his shoes were from the early 90s as well. I sat a few feet from him and asked for a cigarette. He said with a shy smile, ''I do not smoke, sorry. '' I told him it was just as well, and we made small talk for a few minutes. As we talked I noticed a pattern. Everything I asked him, he had the answer to before I was finished talking as if he can know my thoughts. For example, I started talking about his style and how it reminded me of the way older kids dressed in 1989 or 1990. I told him he looked like a kid who was part of the Mickey Mouse Club band called ''The Party. '' He showed me a cassette tape he was listening to on a walkman. It was ''The Party. '' I started to get freaked out. He was being polite about it, but I started to think ''Is he real? Is he supernatural? '' He almost did not seem like he was there, and I went to try to nonchalantly touch him. I did not feel anything. I could see that my hand was up against his arm, but I could not feel him. I felt cold and the hairs on my body stood straight on end as they do now when I recall this incident. He asked me what I was doing. I asked if he was an angel or a ghost. He said ''what do you think? '' I was so scared that I just got up and started walking backwards. I ran back toward the front of the school building by Fortuna Fountain. I got brave and had a feeling that I had to find out if he was a real person or not. I turned around and walked back to the sidewalk along Magnolia Ave. I looked toward the church and saw him in the shadows of a tree. I jaywalked across the street and went up to him. I told him that I had to find out if he was real. He said again ''what do you think? '' I asked him where he lived and to give me his phone number. He gave me a number, and I asked to see him the next night and go to church with me at VCC. He said I needed to call him to see what he would be doing. I asked him his name and he said, ''Jamie'' and laughed.
