In or about 1991 I lived at the end of Santa Rosa Street right by the train station where I walked my dog everyday along the railroad tracks. One day bright as any other day, my dog (''Natty'') and I were walking the tracks just by the SLO Train Station. The walk was interrupted by Natty's persistent growling, and of course I took note of her direct attention. There standing with one foot on the track and one on the gravel was a man about my height 5'8''. He wearing what appeared to be a bright white naval pea coat and pure white pants and shoes. He stood almost motionless except for a nodding gesture to me, with a grand smile that was not exactly comfortable to exchange pleasantries with, but I did anyway. The smile was a little too extreme and haunting (no pun intended. ) It struck me after a moment, as not another person was around, (keeping in mind there usually was no activity around the station back then unless a train was loading or a homeless individual passed normally on their way to the nearby abandoned warehouses down the track a bit for shelter) I did not see this man in white approach.
In fact there was nowhere around from where he stood to approach from. He continued to stand his ground with that wide crazy smile on his face, and I remember the uncomfortable feeling that ran through me began to take hold and felt something definitely not right with the situation. My dog as well became violently agitated, so I pulled her leash back, looked directly into her eyes, and told her to stop the growling. Even though I was creeped out by this man, I turned back to him to apologize for my dog. He Was Gone! No Where, and I mean No Where for this man to disappear to in a matter of only seconds, but he was gone! Not only was I in awe, but so was my dog. Yes, she looked around wildly for the man, but nowhere was he to be found.
To prove what I had already began to suspect during our encounter, the two of us ran wildly around the immediate area and to the one lone trail that lead up to a residential area (which was not nearly close enough to make a quick exit, not even an Olympic runner could have disappeared up that trail or even make it to the trail head that quickly!) After giving up the search and knowing full well there was nowhere this individual could have hidden or run to, it was apparent he just disappeared like the wind!.

Just two nights ago I was watching TV with my mom I was sitting on the couch when I felt what I thought was my cat walking behind me. But when I looked up my cat was on the other end of the couch fast asleep.
There was no way he could have walked past me. I told my mom this right after it happened and she admitted to me that sometimes she feels that there is a cat walking on her lap or nuzzling her hand, but whenever she looks there's nothing there.
