Referring to Sanger California ghost tales about ''la llorana'' and channel road in Sanger ca; ''la Llorona'' is a hispanic legend please refer to website http://www. Literacynet. Org/lp/hperspectives/llorona.
Html although stories of a woman seen along the river in that area may or may not be true the legend of La Llorona originated in Mexico not Sanger California.

A woman is sometimes seen at night on channel road (snake road). It is said that many year ago she drove into the river that runs alongside the road and her children drowned. now she walks up and down the road along the river crying and mourning her children.
She has been nicknamed ''la Llorona''.|
