my God, that says Stephanie!'' It was hard to hear even, but it was there under the white noise... And with three syllables totally says my name. That was freaky.
My husband says he's seen ghosts at his friend's house when he was a teen. I think Simi Valley is a hotbed for ghostly activity.

Ok here's a ghost story for all you Simi Valley people out there. I was born in Nov. of 1979 at Simi Valley Seventh Day Adventist which is now Simi hospital. My family and I moved from the east end of Simi over to the west end of Simi. Cross streets are Alamo and Sequoia. Well on June 8th, 1988 my mother passed away. Years later like when I was 17 I swear I could feel her or something watching me as I showered. Not only that, every now and then I hear my name being called, and when I turn around there's no one there. How's that for spooky. And for those wondering my old house was on Billie CT.

I lived on Whitcomb Avenue for about 18 years, and I remember the day we moved in! It was on Halloween, and the year was 1992, I think because I started kindergarten at Crestview Elementary. I would be in the living room; our couch faced the living room window, and that was where we had placed our TV. I would see a man's black shadow with a hat and long jacket walk from my sister's room next to the bathroom in the hallway across to my parents' room, which the master bedroom. I saw it more than one occasion. I want to say he almost looked western.
I would also be in my bedroom with the window faced the front yard. There was a palm tree outside of it. I remember being in my room home alone, and I heard my aunt's voice laughing! I would run out to say hi, but I was home alone. Suddenly the palm tree fell and broke my bedroom window right when my family arrived home. My sister would also sit up randomly from the top bunk of her bunk bed and laugh hysterically, and my little sister underneath would ask her ''what's so funny?'' And my sister wouldn't answer but just fall back asleep.
