R.D. Tweedy and his family were a Pioneering family that settled in South Gate from Arkansaw. Maybe I saw one of those long beards that were cool back then. Submitted by Rick

I was born in South Gate and lived on Southern and Cypress 'til I was ten years old and it was the house on the corner by the dirt field. That house was extremely haunted. From a man seen walking from the bedrooms to the kitchen to a white skull face the was seen in a little room next to the garage.

I remember being woken up by a voice calling me by name to open the front door. I also remember a man with a broken neck sitting on the couch. I will never forget that house and all the weird and bad things that happened there.

That place should be investigated. Submitted by Steve

Hi.. My name is louie.. I used to live on Virginia ave. Between Firestone and southern in these apartments. I lived in the front apt. It was indeed haunted. How do I know? I lived there a short while.. For about 6 months and moved out for the cause of all of the paranormal activities I experienced in a short time. One time I went to use the restroom the sink turned on for me when I reached to turn it off it was hard to turn.
