Comment by Homer: Temple city was named after Walter Temple actually.
Comment by Homer: Actually the two 2 story houses at Lemon / TC Boulevard are at southwest corner and southeast corner northwest corner is TC High School and northeast is townhomes built back in late seventies. (north is toward mountains.)
I lived in Temple City for 54 years. The house on the southeast corner supposedly someone hanged themselves in the attic long time back something I heard third hand and may be just a tall tale.
