Tujunga, California Ghost Tales | |
In a house on Irma Avenue near Apperson Street we heard the whole house creak like it was alive and trying to crawl away. The front door was constantly throwing itself open all hours of the day and night. Strange thumping sounds came from inside the chimney. Several people saw a strange light swirling near the ceiling in the hallway and the bedroom. We often heard steps coming into the house but when we went out to see who it was no one was there. Strange grey stains would appear on the walls. The walls in the kitchen had ice cold bubbles that would swell up under the paint. If you pushed on them they would go down but then just fill up with ice cold water again. In one week all the light bulbs in the house burnt out and all the fish in the aquarium died. One day as I sat at the desk in one of the bedrooms I heard someone sitting behind me and moving around. Thinking it was my daughter I kept working and when I turned around to look at her I realized that not only was she not in the room, she was at a relatives house. I felt the urge to leave

the house and when I walked out to the living room my keys were sliding across the table toward me. I just grabbed them and ran out of the house. The neighbors often say that the husband of the woman who lived in that house died. Submitted by Steve
