Purchasing a home is a very exciting experience. And so was what came along with this Panorama City home located on Van Nuy’s Place & Cedros. A Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, swimming pool, garage conversion into a 1 bedroom, small kitchen, and 1 restroom was more than our family of 6 expected. The walk threw of the home was unusual, as my husband and I and my four children were viewing the home with the realtor for the very first time. My two daughters and I decided to walk into the house from the back yard while my husband and my two boys stood with the realtor out back by the pool. My oldest daughter

was in the restroom on the left side of the house if you’re facing the pool, and I was standing in the kitchen with my youngest daughter asking her if she liked the house. This would be our first experience

with the ghost in the home. We heard four hard pounds on the bathroom door. My daughter yelled out WHAT! As I did the same thinking she needed a napkin tissue or towel. Moments later, it happened again, the same four loud hard pounds on the restroom door. Being very annoyed, and upset now because of the bangs, and very embarrassed, I yelled out to my daughter, WHAT DO YOU WANT, my daughter feeling the same way, and responded to me, with the same annoyed tone as she opened the door. As both our eyes made contact, we both knew automatically that the pounds we heard did not come from neither of us,

and exited the house. Weeks later, we moved into the home, and late at night we would hear footsteps in the front room. I had seen the apparition of a woman in a long nightgown petting her cat sitting
in the front room, on my couch by the window. I also had an infrared camera set up to monitor my youngest daughter while she slept in her room. One night as my daughter slept on the couch in the front
room, I set up the baby infrared camera so that I can watch her as I folded clothes in the laundry room. To my surprise, I saw the transparent lady with the long nightgown, sitting at the foot of the
couch watching my baby sleep. I couldn’t believe my eyes, as I ran to the front room flicked on the lights; the apparition that I had seen had disappeared. I lifted my daughter and prayed and safely
put her to sleep in my bedroom. In the hallway that separates the master bedroom and the corner room that faces van Nuys place and cedros. You can see several ghosts. In the kitchen that is adjacent
to the pool, at night you can hear the moans of a woman. And if you look close enough from the front room into the kitchen threw the arch that separates the two, you can see the apparition of a white
woman with a big man like beast is what I call it, (because it reminds me of Beauty and the Beast) it sometimes looks like a big ape (I caught it on video tape.) You can also see the apparition of an
old man walking the grounds outside by the pool. He used to be a carpenter and was the first owner of the home and husband to the lady in the night gown. The old man is known to lock you in the garage,
or close the door on you. These two ghosts will not harm you. The other ghosts are: 1. The Beast, a man like beast, hairy, tall and you might see him in the kitchen area. 2. The naked woman with pail
skin and blond long hair, you can also see her in the kitchen area. 3. A little boy about 7 years old can be seen in the bedroom and hallway. 4. Mr. Ugly is a tall young man with what appears to have
a burnt face, all you can see is his wide white eyes, and he moves from side to side with his both arms in the air as if he’s trying to scare you. 5. The old man who locks and bangs on the doors and that
will lock you up in the garage. 6. The woman in the long night gown who sits in the front room with her cat. 7. The young girl who cries and cries and whispers at you and walks where the laundry room
was or still is and usually is in the area where the 2nd restroom was or still is by the water heater is. 8. The creature that watches you from the bedroom window, if your standing in front of the house
on van Nuys place, the bedroom on your left hand side, he can be seen from the bedroom if you watch from the neighbors lawn by the brick wall. 9. A skeleton swims with you in the pool. 10. An apparition
of a tall white male jogger has been seen from the pool as you look into the garage if the door is left open while you swim. The jogger is wearing an old 1980’s tank top with the big open holes in the
arms and you see him jogging or working out. 11. In the master bedroom, you can hear whispers and people talking in the kitchen, hallway and laundry room. You can even sometimes hear the sliding door
open even after you have locked it. 12. In the winter, you can see weird fog like smoke rolling in from the pool area into the glass sliding door into the new kitchen area; this is when you’ll know you
are in for a night of supernatural. 13. At about 11:30pm you can hear kids, or people walking on the front lawn as if it were in the middle of the afternoon, and all you can think is how strange what
are these people doing up so late. But when you go look, and nobody is there, you then realize that you just heard the ghosts that play on your lawn. 14. Last but not the least of your haunting…. The
girl we call KAT. You can hear her calling out: kitty kitty kitty… here kitty kitty kitty… If you’re alone in the house and at about 6pm when it begins to get dark, you can hear her in the home giggling,
taunting you, playing with you. You can see her threw the corner of your eye as she’s running from room to room. Making noises under the house, hitting the pipes underneath. The tunnel that she crawls
threw leads into every room. And the attic, she loves looking out of the bird holes in the front of the house. You get a strange feeling when you are leaving for work in the morning and also when you
arrive in the middle of the night. She is very mischievous; she starts fires, and breaks glass. She mimics the voices of your loved ones, when they are not even home. She will hide your keys to the
car, hide your wallet, lock the restroom door, turn the music on loud, close closet doors and open them, pound on the ceiling, pound on the walls, stomp on the floor, slam doors shut. Her name is KAT,
this is what we have named her because she is constantly calling out: Kitty Kitty Kitty…. It seems to me that she lives in the attic and watches you as you cook and clean. So, if you ever have the pleasure
of saying at this house as a guest, make sure you are prepared. Take a camera and a Video recorder, and a tape recorded. You will definitely see, or hear strange noises and unexplainable sounds.
