The old Olivas adobe is haunted by a ghostly woman who has no eyes only holes where eyes should be. She haunts the rose garden. Some say she is a ghost of a Chumash Indian woman who worked as a servant for Don Raymundo Olivas the builder of the house who had her eyes cut out by brutal Yankees and then killed. She is dressed in a white sleeveless garment with long black hair. She is seen on foggy nights. Submitted by Richard

It's a dark .. Like a 3 mile road.. There is really no controlled intersections so people race up and down the street there has been many accidents etc .. So maybe that plays a role .. But I have walked that street for years and I've seen soo many dark shadow people it's so real that my husband who is like whatever.. Was completely tripped out that after all the conversation bout what I see/ feel that 1 night I pushed him into the street .. Because I was so sure that this shadow was going to jump us... Since then he will not walk that street again. Submitted by Tina
