I was about 4 and just moved with my grandma on Ashland, and it was pretty dark. My mom told me to put my socks away. It was a four-bedroom house, and our room was the last one at the end of a long creepy hallway. I was not scared because I never thought about ghosts at the time. The first room was my uncle's, and it had a dead lock instead of a door knob. I walked down the hall, and as soon as I got in front of the room the door opened and slammed shut! I was so scared! I turned around and ran crying to my dad! He jumped up, ran to the door, and tried to open it, but it was locked.
They asked what happened, and when I told them they could not believe me because there was a envelope jammed in the crack of the door that would have fallen if the door opened. My dad said he ran to the door because he heard it slam, and he knew we were the only ones home. After that I was a lot more worried about spirits, but I then forgot about them so stopped tripping off them. My parents kept a lot from me until I was about eighteen. Then my dad told me about that house and all the activities that happened there. He said it was a family curse. A lot of people in Visalia are related to us and don't even know they have something following them.

There's a 2 block length of W. Buena Vista St. in Visalia, CA. where ghosts frequent you daily; and nights are worst. We've experienced voices, footsteps, whispering, crying, shadows, things disappearing, children talk to someone only they can see, the list goes on.
Daily occurrences with night time being more active. There's a watcher, a little girl, a woman, and a prankster . You never know what's going to happen next.

Comment by Vanessa: Is this the Buena Vista area near the projects (Sigma Acres)?.
