Custom Search Weaverville, California Ghost Sightings Weaverville PAGE 1   2   3   4     Recently I was talking to a Friend of mine that is a member of a dredging team that was working on the River near an old 1800s mining town called tanoka bar CA. (not sure of the spelling). They were dredging the River so the Salmon could spawn farther upstream. While working one Day a very strange event took place. Out of the River appeared Many human like figures (yes dead ones) and started toward them. They all experienced     this. He recalls that Many of the men were crying and a few even were going a little crazy. He himself says he has not yet recovered from this event. There has to be some kind of documentation of the event as Many of the men were taken to a nearby hospital by medical response teams. (many of them) I have tried to research this event and can find nothing about it or the town of tanoka bar. Is there or was there such a place in the 1800s? I don't know. Do I believe my friend?
