Custom Search Wrightwood, California Ghost Sightings Wrightwood PAGE 1   2   3     I lived in Wrightwood from the age of 7 to 14 (between 1971 to 79). In my opinion, the whole Swartout Valley (Wrightwood) is haunted. For its small population, many tragedies have occurred in the Swarthout Valley -- particularly accidental deaths of children and teens (i.e.. self inflicted gun shot wounds and car/motorcycle accidents). I saw and heard many things there that I would rather not describe. I sometimes wonder if the     Swarthout Valley was used as a burial ground or sacred area by the Yuharetum (Serrano Indian Tribe) that lived in San Gabriel mountains. Can anyone shed light on this or add comments?.
